Something worth seeing, the Imperial Ice Bar

Bars and clubs in the Philippines are getting wilder, trendier, and exceptional as days go on.  Keeping up or rivaling the famous pubs around the globe, Manila is now booming with world-class and unique bars and clubs for the delight of party goers.

The Imperial Ice Bar located at Unit D, the Fort Entertainment Center Bonifacio Global Complex, Taguig City is definitely Manila’s new hot spot! This Russian-inspired bar is the first and the only world-class ice bar in the Philippines where one can experience both a heart thumping party, and be frozen at the negative zero degree environment all at the same time!  The Imperia Ice bar consists of 2 parts, a trendy bar or lounge area fully-equipped with a DJ booth and nightclub interior, and the actual ice bar.

The Imperial’s main lounge is tastefully decorated and with lush interior plus a superb bar that offers a vast selection of alcoholic beverages in the Philippines.  One can also try the famous and the world’s finest Russian Standard Imperial Vodka at 5-degrees Celsius while enjoying the unique music arrangements of the in-house DJ that’s surely hyping up the crowd.  You’ll be surprised to find yourself at the dance floor after a couple of drinks for this bar have a superb and state-of-the-art sound system sound system that never fails to get the crowd in the mood.

If you want to “defrost” after a steaming dance party, then the Ice Bar should be your next destination.  For a fee of 550 Pesos, one will get to experience the original and only “winter wonderland” in the Philippines.  The fee will allow you 15 minutes inside the ice bar and 2 Imperial Vodka shots which are pretty much needed by the body to stay warm amidst the 5-degrees Celsius temperature of the bar.  Prior to entering the bar, guests are being provided with warm winter jackets, gloves, and Ushankas or Russian hats to keep them warm and cozy while inside.

Growing up in a tropical country where winter season is very much impossible, one will be in awe upon entering the ice bar.  From the bar to the tables and seats, the decors and even the your drinking glasses and shot glasses are freezing cold.  This is the perfect place for vodka lovers for the alcohol will easily warm one’s body.  Another main attraction of the Imperial Ice Bar, aside from the ice bar, is the Imperial Russian Vodka infused shots. These Vodka fruit infused drinks specially concocted by David Dennis, a much celebrated New York star mixologist, has earned its spot as one of the unique and fabulous alcoholic beverages in the Philippines.

Visiting the Imperial Ice Bar at the Fort is indeed a one-of-a-kind experience especially for the Filipinos who have been dreaming to experience what it feels like to be in a subzero environment.
